Allari Naresh is offering his trademark entertainment in 3D in the film Action. The film attracted attention with Anil Sunkara, Dookudu producer turning director in this first ever 3D comedy film in India.
Four friends Bava (Allari Naresh), Ajay (Kick Shyam), Shiva (Vaibhav) and Purushottam (Raju Sundaram) head to Goa to celebrate Ajay’s engagement with a bachelor party. In between Bava try to woo Geetha (Neelam) with little success. All the four go wild on one night by driking over their heads. The next morning they will be in for a surprise. To know more about it, one should head for 3D Action in theaters.
Allari Naresh came with a performance that suits his style. Shyam and Vaibhav did their roles quite well. Raju Sundaram’s comedy is ok. Sneha Ullal and Neelam Upadhyaya oozed with glamor. Sudeep is handsome and MS.Narayana entertained with his comedy. Brahmanandam is underused. Sunil and Posani narrated the story in their own hilarious manner.
Editing is below average. 3D effects are just average. Cinematography is ok. Music is below average. Production values are ok. Director failed to match the star cast with the below average storyline. The film lacks comedy though it is a comedy entertainer.
Action 3D is a poor imitation of Hollywood film The Hangover. Even the successful story couldn’t be copied properly. 3D effects whatever used are poor waste of money for this mediocre story.
